Classes & Services

All classes are suitable for every level, with the option of private classes to give you individual attention. 

Please Note: Always consult a medical practitioner before starting a fitness programme.  Not all exercises or activities are suitable for everyone. Fife Yoga Fit does not accept responsibility for any injury or accident incurred following a Thai massage or as a result of any yoga /Nia programme. Always let your teacher know at the beginning of a class if you have an injury, you're pregnant or have an ongoing condition.

Yoga in Burntisland

Fridays
10.00am - 11.00am

Suitable for beginners and experienced students, we get to grips with the key principles of yoga. I will introduce you to a variety of sequences step by step making yoga accessible to all.

  • Learn a salutation, and breathing techniques
  • Learn basic alignment of postures

  • Cultivate mindfulness and meditation
  • Develop self confidence and happier lifestyle

Bring along a blanket and water and avoid eating heavily 3 hours beforehand. Mats are available at the venue, or you may prefer to bring your own.

Non-strenuous gentle course helps those completely new to yoga with a range of therapeutic issues. Weekly themes mindfully guide the student to their goal of self healing, making it ideal for many conditions, back pain, stiffness or those in need of gentle recovery.

Gentle Paced Yoga in Kirkcaldy

Mondays
9.30am - 10.30am & 10.45am - 11.45am

Adam Smith Theatre, Bennochy Road, Kirkcaldy KY1 1E

This gentle class combines chair with mat based postures. Opening the doors of yoga to the complete novice, people who find other exercise classes too strong, have conditions or are just a little stiff. The aim is to keep you mobile.

Nia in Dunfermline

Nia is a holistic fitness practice which brings mindfulness to your expressive movement. Combining dance, martial arts, and healing yoga, Nia tones your body leaving you energised, mentally clear and emotionally balanced.

Practiced barefoot, Nia is adaptable to individual needs and abilities. Nia gets you fit in 60 minutes. No equipment, partner or previous experience is required. Wear comfortable clothes and bring some water.

Back Care Yoga

One to One By Appointment
12 week course, 75 min class 

Back care yoga is a specially modified course suitable for complete beginners. It is a toolkit of self managed yoga skills; designed to give long term benefits to students who commit to regular home practice.

Funded by Arthritis UK, University of York scientifically proved a 30% recovery on Yoga for healthy lower backs 12 week programme.

 What happens on the course?

  • Learn good posture and re-alignment

  • Comfort in lying, standing, kneeling & sitting poses

  • Relaxation techniques

You will require:

A yoga mat, a bed pillow, 2 yoga blocks, 1 brick, 1x 2.5 m yoga belt, and a blanket.  

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai yoga massage can be dynamic, therapeutic and relaxing at the same time.  From the feet to the head the sen lines are worked using acupressure, massage and yoga stretches to release blockages. This enhances the body's natural ability to heal itself.

What happens at a treatment?
